I currently have about 00 negative equity on my auto loan. I don’t know what to do because I need to sell my car but I cannot get what I owe. I can’t come up with the 00 difference. The reason I want to sell it is because my payments are way to high..about 0/mo and I can’t afford it. My credit isn’t that great either. I have been to many dealerships and they will not finance an older car and lower my payment. I can get a newer car but have the same payment, wich doesn’t help me because that’s the entire reason I need to get rid of this car. Very Frustrating! I don’t know what to do….ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL HELP.

Help! Swindled out of house and home?
Friday, August 14th, 2009I recently was served with notice of a foreclosure on my property, which I share as co-tenant with my father, a realtor. A while back, he had taken out a loan for 10,000 to invest in his realtor business. Of course I also had to sign the loan agreement, which he later refinanced in his name only. It was one of those "home equity lines of credit." Long story short, he eventually took out 5,000 without my knowledge – instead of the agreed upon ,000 – and hasn’t made any payments in over a year! He wasn’t even on the property originally to begin with, I added him so he could take out the loan. This is incredible! I feel completely betrayed. Do I have any recourse? Is he liable for this? He doesn’t live with me, so he could care less if the house is foreclosed. I am at a loss for words…

Thursday, August 13th, 2009Like most Americans, I got caught up in the housing boom and totally over borrowed on my home. I took out HELOCs to buy a Harley Davidson and a boat about a year ago. I cant really afford my payments right now as it is and I just got a letter saying that my ARM is resetting in March (I never bothered to read the loan agreement I signed) to find out that my housing payment is tripling next year!
I just caught wind of the governments plan to freeze interest rates on the housing market. Does anyone know how one signs up for this plan? I would like to lock in my rate before Christmas if possible since I am planning on buying a new Lexus for significant other as a surprise this year.
