Are there any legit (well known) Lenders out there who will give a home equity line of credit from an investment property? We have about 65% equity in a home we currently own and rent out in CO.
We have superb credit (above 750). When we built it and bought it with so much cash, we had every intention of it being our final home. Circumstances change and we’re now out of State.
We make excellent profit off it, so selling it, not an option. But how can we free up some cash?

My husband and I are moving into my grandparents old farmhouse. The property consists of about 5 acres, two buildings and the house. The house needs some work and my husband and I are going to do this work, but my question is what are our options for this. The property is worth too much money for any one person to buy in the family, so my husband and I are living out there until everyone figures our what we are going to do. Should we get the deed transferred temporarily to my name so that we can get a home equity loan, and be able to have our own insurance company cover the house, or should we live there and make the repairs really slowly? Thank you

I’m looking to take out a business loan against some property equity I have. I was told by a lender that I had to re-finance my home loan and go with them if I was to take out a business loan with them.
Am I able to keep my home loan where it is? I don’t want to move it across because of the exit fees, legals, etc.
Info about Australian lenders

My husband and I are in the process of buying a house.. we were told by our realtor and mortgage broker that the house appraised for 30k more then what we are paying for it.
If this is true and we buy the house would we be able to take out an equity loan on the house as soon as we buy it since the house is worth more then we are paying?
We’re doing FHA so we only have to put 3.5% down. So.. I’m assuming that means that we will have to pay into the house for a while before we can

I currently live in a small single-family home with a market value of 0K (it’s in a market that has not been severely punished by the housing crisis). Current mortgage balance is 5K. Rather than selling I am considering renting my present home and purchasing a new home to better accomodate my growing family (in the 0-0K range). Rental income would cover the first morgage and my personal income would cover the mortgage cost of the new home. I need to free up the equity in my current home to meet the down payment on a new primary residence. Is a cash-out refi the best way to accomplish this task? Also would the mortage amount on the rental be counted toward my overall debt percentage (28% is the general rule) when I follow shortly thereafter with 30-year mortgage for a new home? Pros, cons, and any other issues to consider would also be appreciated.

We have a large amount of equity in our current house.
We have no bills other than the mortgage on our current house.
Is a home equity loan to get to the 20% down payment and then a conventional loan on the investment property itself the best way to go?
Or is it best to finance the investment property itself rather than using the equity in the primary residence. We could finance 100% of the loan purchase price or do a secondary mortgage to come up with a 20% down payment.
